Established in 2008, the program honors our founding partner, Christopher Simpson, who passed away that year after a short battle with cancer. Well-known in higher ed for his work in the fields of media relations and crisis communications, Christopher was strongly committed to serving as a mentor for young advancement professionals. The SimpsonScarborough Scholars program seeks to carry on Christopher’s legacy by supporting the professional development of promising communications and marketing professionals in the education advancement profession.
